1. Inside, Outside, and All-Around

For example, if your youngster understands "large and little," it will be easier to explain "6 is bigger than 5." They may be able to perceive the numbers more linearly if they mentally envision one number as "larger" than another.
There are a few things you can do to assist your child to develop spatial thinking for early numeracy:
- Spatial play is exemplified by blocks and puzzles.
- Talk to your youngster about the many components of the game - "we've put the big block on top of the little block."
- Prop a big basket against the wall by turning it sideways.
